When I Asked AI Why My Site Doesn't Rank, the Answer Was Brutally Honest – Part II –
Weeks have passed since my last post. My site remains adrift in a digital dimension beyond the "10th page" of search results—not even a deserted island, but a ghost ship in the void.
I interrogated the AI again. "I refuse to sell out for ads. But my content is deeper than anyone's. Why am I being ignored?"
The AI’s response exposed a structure more rotten than the "Ads = Trust" theory I faced last time.
1. The Mechanism of "Exclusion"
The AI bluntly stated that "quality" isn't even part of the conversation anymore.
The SGE Sacrifice:
・Google now prioritizes AI-generated summaries (SGE). If a site isn't "AI-friendly"—meaning predictable and bland—it’s dismissed as "noise." My nuanced prose is a bug, not a feature.
The Digital Aristocracy:
・Big media outlets form a "Lords of Links" circle. If you aren't in their club, you're treated as a suspicious outsider, no matter how much truth you speak.
2. The McDonaldization of Information
Modern search engines don't want "truth"; they want "frictionless consumption."
・Anything that makes a reader think is considered an obstacle to convenience. If it can't be digested in 10 seconds, it's discarded as "waste."
3. I Won't Be a Fast-Food Content Creator
The AI’s final advice? "Strip away your personality. Use a template."
I decline.
My words aren't here to be summarized by an algorithm. They are here to spark a flame in a living, breathing human being. If being "undiscoverable" is the price of keeping my soul, then I’ll gladly stay invisible. I’d rather bite the dust in the desert of the search results than serve lukewarm water to the masses.
