"Where do these ideas even come from?!" Inspired by the boundless creativity of makers around the world, we opened our store in 2019 — a platform connecting unique materials with the inventive ideas of craft lovers.

Then, in June 2026, we took that idea one step further and launched the Alaudae Craft Forum. Beyond connecting materials with ideas, we now hope to connect makers with one another. Crafting is often quiet, solitary work: a small question comes up with no one to ask, or you finish a piece you're proud of with nowhere to show it. Our aim is a place where people who work with their hands can gather across borders and languages — to ask, to teach, to share. You don't need to use our materials to join. Everyone who loves to weave is welcome.
