Starting work in 2020
Before you know it, 15 days have passed in 2020...
And from today, I will start working on Alaudae.JP.
Thank you everyone for your continued support this year.
You may be wondering why we start business from the 15th, but there is no particular meaning.
On the other hand, the store is always closed, so I have a more relaxed time before starting work.
I'm sad to see it end like this, so here's a CMS story.
CMS is an abbreviation for content management system, and if you use this CMS, you can send out information on the web even if you don't have any web knowledge. Most of them refer to WordPress, Joomla!, XOOPS, etc., and the ways to use them are endless.
The CMS share in 2019 should have been over 90%, dominated by WordPress.
After all, if the usage rate is high like Windows, there are many Japanese versions, and it is possible to operate it without much effort.
However, Alaudae.JP is currently using Joomla!
Joomla! as a CMS would be in the position and position of Mac OS 9 or Mac OS X if you think of it as an old PC OS.
I don't know if it will become like Apple in the future, but I think it has potential.
The CMS share rate in 2019 is probably less than 10%, around 7-5%, and the share has definitely been taken by WordPress. The reason to use Joomla! is because it has value that WordPress doesn't have! That's it.
If that usage value is taken away by WordPress, Alaudae.JP will either migrate from Joomla! to WordPress or stop building web sites. (I can't see a certain answer because the evolution of the cyber world will be a little dark in the future)
Well, I'd like to think it's okay for a while...
Also, which is better: WordPress or Joomla!? If you ask me, if you don't have any particular knowledge and want to get started quickly, I would definitely go with WordPress.
I used WordPress from 2006 to 2011, and it was a system similar to the blogs of major sites, so I didn't feel any discomfort, and the templates and extensions were free and used well. However, as I continued to use it, I started to feel dissatisfied with the fact that something was missing and that the archives, which are unique to blogs, were long and long. All I can remember is that I gradually lost the desire to build WordPress because there was a lot of information and I felt suspicious about the amount of work I was wasting.
The other option, Joomla!, can also be easily started.
However, there are almost no Japanese versions of templates or extensions, making it unsuitable for people like me who are not good at English. In fact, around 2015, I tried Joomla! several times on a trial basis, but the ``English'' was the problem. So I gave up once.
Because I have no knowledge of English and can't even do the alphabet in kindergarten or nursery school, so the "English" = foreign language barrier is nothing more than an Everest-sized obstacle for me. But even if you can't overcome the "English" barrier with this mysterious monster, you can still get tips and tricks on how to use it in the infinite cyber world.
Although there is no "honyaku konnyaku", there is "automatic translation", so all you have to do is make good use of these.
If you can deal with these things really well, you can translate it into Japanese even if your English is a foreign language, and since I realized that, I've been able to use Joomla! normally, although it's not perfect.
However, it cannot be denied that if you use "automatic translation" for everything, there is a high possibility that there will be questionable grammar or spelling mistakes.
However, with automatic translation, you can learn words other than English, so you can enjoy it in a different way.
Web building is so interesting that I'm glad I started using Joomla!
That's why it's on the top of Alaudae.JP's website
It's not bad if you don't know,
There's a lot of things you don't know in this world;
is not a random line.
When I turned 50, I realized that whether I'm an idiot or not, there's always one chance, one motive, that turns into an opportunity that sets me on the path of life.
If you are young and worried, you can change by getting over that wall.
You are the one who knows best whether to make use of it or kill it.
keep it up! New adults, working adults.
Ah, I started work at Alaudae.JP today, and the coming-of-age ceremony isn't until the 15th.
I'll close it here...
