September 2018 was a busy month.
September was a busy day even though the store was closed.
My work involves creating websites, dividing handicraft materials into smaller pieces, and preparing to open a handicraft store.
Personally, I upgraded to macOS Mojave and iOS 12, and reconfigured Time Machine.
So, I was panicking.
This is my first time dividing handicraft materials into small portions, and I am working on a process of trial and error, wondering if I will be able to open this month as announced. I'm anxious.
The big subdivision was finished today.
The only thing left to do is to make the size range suitable for domestic use, and if we can clear this point, we can see an opening date.
(Ah, there were some things I wasn't good at taking photos...)
I want to take shape one by one while paying attention to my health.
Upgrading Apple products.
This time, upgrading to macOS is more fun than iOS.
In particular, I think the dark mode feels refreshing and easy to view.
Also, the display method has become larger overall, and it feels like you are viewing the desktop screen of your MacBook on a Thunderbolt Display...mystery.
As rumored, it seems like macOS is shifting towards iOS.
The last step is to reconfigure Time Machine.
This is the first thing I noticed after using Time Machine for so long.
Time Machine is used for data migration!
Since the usernames are the same, doing a clean install and migrating data without using the migration assistant may pose a security problem...
It may be correct for you (the user) to think that the username 'apple' and the username 'apple' are the same.
However, if you do not use the migration assistant, the username 'apple' and the username 'apple' will be treated as different usernames...
I can understand why this is done from a security perspective.
If it can be treated as the same user, anyone can restore data with the username 'apple' by changing the username to 'apple'...
So if you go directly into the Time Machine folder without using the Migration Assistant, you'll run into access rights issues.
Resetting Time Machine made me think about various things.
But I don't use Migration Assistant whenever possible...
