Yesterday, I brought the client a standard template that I had spent about a week translating into Japanese.
When we met last time, we didn't know what kind of site they were looking for, so we put up the price ($€) for the Joomla overseas templates and extensions used in Alaudae.JP.
They were surprised when I told them that these would need to be updated every year.
I knew it would be.
But I just told him the cost of actually running the site myself and multiplying it every year.
In my opinion, it's the bare minimum you need to spend if you want an ever-evolving site.
However, I was surprised and felt the implications were different, so I asked them what kind of site they were looking for, and I found out that it was a few pages long, just like the ones they often call up and say, "Do you want a website?
I told them last time that Alaudae.JP doesn't do "multi-page sites" and that it's more difficult to do so, so I told them it would be faster to hire a specialist. JP, and we told them that it is more difficult, so it is quicker to ask a specialist to build a website. But it seems that all the web builders have the same image of building a web site, so we decided to ask Alaudae.
If I accepted the request, there would be only disadvantages such as the fact that I would have to learn how to build a different web site, and it would be clear that the other person would be able to build a better web site than Alaudae.JP I declined.
Honestly, if you had checked the contents of Alaudae.JP's site at least once, I'm sure you wouldn't have asked me to do so. But I was reminded that generally speaking, "building a website or web site" is the same as any other.
If you call yourself a web designer, you can build any website you want, but Alaudae.JP is not a web designer, we just have the knowledge to build websites with Joomla!

From now on, we'll only deal with requests that are based on an understanding of the content of the Alaudae.JP website.
